The International Forum “Information Security and Combating Cyber Intrusions: The Spanish Experience”
In light of the rapid digital transformation underway and the increasing reliance of organizations and individuals on electronic systems for business and data management, cyberattacks have become a major challenge threatening digital security and stability. These attacks include hacking attempts, data theft, malware deployment, denial-of-service attacks, and other methods targeting systems and networks. Cybersecurity is defined as a set of policies, procedures, and technologies aimed at protecting information systems from unauthorized access, manipulation, or disruption. Cybersecurity relies on three main elements: confidentiality (protecting information from unauthorized access), integrity (ensuring data cannot be manipulated or modified without authorization), and availability (ensuring systems and services remain accessible to authorized users).
These topics aim to empower participants to develop their skills in information security and cybersecurity, and how to leverage this knowledge to enhance work efficiency, improve decision-making, and accelerate organizational innovation.
